Though Reason weep, and cry it is thy last.

When we first started Pocket Gamer, the idea of a "pocket" game was pretty obvious. That meant games you played on portable consoles, of course, and the odd Java game for old mobile phones.

Now, such distinctions are less clear. You can play PS4 games on your Vita. You can play Android games on your TV. Can you fit an iPad in your pocket? I just tried it. I need to buy new jeans.

So instead of pointlessly trying to figure out what is and isn't pocket or portable or handheld gaming, we're not going to worry about such restrictive definitions. If you can play a game without being connected to a power socket, we reckon that's fair game.
Come read about spaceship-building blaster Captain Forever Remix
So today, we're starting up a Steam section. You can play PC games on laptops and Windows tablets, after all.

We want to help you make sense of Steam's ever-growing library of games in the same way we've demystified the App Store and Google Play. Heartfelt recommendations, careful curation, handy lists, and in depth walkthroughs.

It's all a bit experimental at first, and we don't want to cannibalise the content we write about mobile, so for now you can expect a few stories on Steam a week and for the articles to be kept in their own section and off the front page.
A western whodunit where you can kill anyone? That'd be Westerado: Double Barrelled
But let us know what you think in the comments below. Want to see more? Want to see less? Want to see staff writer Glen Fox wearing a dress? We aim to please.

Check out the first articles, here.

And developers! Got a cool Steam game you think we'll dig and want to get it in front of a huge audience? Email us on [email protected], or come along to one of our Big Indie Pitch events and show the game to us in person.

Our next one is at Pocket Gamer Connects: San Francisco in July.
Mobile Football

Apple today announced that an app will soon be released that allows you to use your iPhone as a remote for your Apple TV.

This is a feature that really should have been available at the launch of Apple TV 2, but it will seriously please those of you in the habit of losing your remote nonetheless.

That's not the only good news for Apple TV fanatics though. Gamers in particular will be pleased to discover that support for four gamepads is also inbound.

So it's the perfect time to host that multiplayer tournament you always dreamed of.

More than that though, some games will now be able to require the use of controllers, bringing a much needed change to Apple's policy that should affect the way games are developed on tvOS.

New games are also inbound like Minecraft: Story Mode and Sketch Party.

Yes. You go ahead and dust off that Apple TV. It might actually have some use in the coming months.

On the subject of PSVR, the ever-anticipated Batman: Arkham VR will apparently have a fair chunk of content available for us to play around with, totalling at roughly 150 minutes including the hour-long story section of the game.

Announced back in June, Batman: Arkham VR is an all-new murder mystery in the Batman universe and set in the style of the comic books. Though, it's a completely different experience to what die-hard Batman fans are used to as it's based more around the detective-side of things rather than anything utterly action-oriented.

An interview with PressStart earlier this week brought about some interesting information regarding Batman: Arkham VR's length. Dax Ginn, Rocksteady Studios Brand Marketing Producer stated, "The core narrative is about 60 minutes in duration, however additional content is unlocked that provides about another 90 minutes of gameplay on top of that. So there are plenty of reasons to play through the game multiple times in order to see everything that we have put into it."

The big question is – will the experience offered in this epic, dark, psychological adventure be worth every penny? Retailing for around $20, two and a half hours isn't bad in terms of gameplay but it's still steep for some. We'll have to wait and see.

Batman: Arkham VR launches on the 13th October and will be exclusive to PlayStation VR until March 31st 2017.

 &#;
Heroes was back on US TV screens last week after more than five years away, and Phosphor's tie-in game will be landing on Google Play and the App Store next week.

The developer behind Horn and The Dark Meadow have been working on Heroes Reborn: Enigma alongside series creator Tim Kring, who is keen for the game to complement the show's return.

"The game extends the storyline from the Heroes Reborn television series and unfolds an entirely new plot to enhance viewers' experiences," he said.

"It's also designed as a self-contained experience for those who have not seen the series."

Enigma will put players in the shoes of an EVO called Dahlia as she attempts to escape from a government facility known as The Quarry.

EVOs, lest we forget (I tried to after the second season, I really did), are people with superpowers. Reborn's season premiere kicked off with a terrorist attack in Texas killing many of them, and the game takes place during the same timeframe.

Further details have been hard to come by since its announcement back in June, but we don't have much longer to wait and see if it can at least be better than Heroes' fourth season.

Even though there are just too many things to choose from, we have picked our favorite hallmarks that Hago was most praised for. And, considering that this wonderful app also has some hidden gems that fall under the premium feature, we’ve made it so that everyone can enjoy it in all its entirety. So, without further ado, here’s what Hago Mod Apk consists of:
After almost a year in soft-launch as a free-to-play title, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX has launched on Android and iOS, and it's now a premium app.

Yes, gone are the free-to-play trappings that plagued the original soft-launch. No more wait timers, no more IAPs. Just pure, ridiculous, Pac-Man action.

If you've not played this style of Pac-Man before, it's a twist on the classic that focuses on timed high-score attack modes.

You have to navigate the maze, waking up sleeping ghosts to create a train behind you that you can eventually eat all of for massive points.

The game speeds up as you play, making it harder to navigate the maze but also increasing your point scoring opportunities.

And it's all set in a bright, neon world with pounding techno beats to get your blood pumping as you snack on those pellets.

We gave the original Pac-Man Championship Edition our Gold Award, with our reviewer calling it "a definitive version of Pac-Man."

So chances are the DX version is even better. You can grab it from Google Play for £3.84 / $4.99 or on the App Store for £3.99 / $4.99.
