3、Updated May 11th, 3:33 PM: I know, it feels like the game's already been out for a while, but alas today's the day. Injustice 2 is finally out on iOS and Android - isn't it exciting?
DC fans, or lovers of the superhero/supervillain thing in general, you might want to give this one a whirl as it contains a huge selection of good guys and bad guys, and lets you pit them against each other however you like.
Grab the game free-to-play on the App Store or Google Play now.
For those DC fanatics among you, you'll be pleased to know that Injustice 2 has soft-launched in the Philippines.

Yes, delving into the wild world of Injustice 2, you're faced once again with your ragtag lot of Superheroes and Supervillains. Expanding on the first of its name, we've got more characters, more modes, and some more of those suave graphics that made us fall for the previous title.

Following suit, NetherRealm Studios is bringing us more ways to build, level up, and progress your characters in this RPG card collector. Though, we'll have to see whether the game can live up to its promises. I'm sure we all know by now that sequels which expand upon previous games are pretty hard to do successfully.

We've got a choice of fighting in single player mode in three-vs-three fights, or battling folks from all over the world in asynchronous PvP mode. It's up to you how you like to play (and dominate).

If you're located in the Philippines, grab the game free-to-play on the App Store now. If not, feel free to check out our guide on making a foreign iTunes account.

-
Spinnner is a new game that might make you feel sick.

All you do is hold your iPhone or iPad in your hands (hold it tight!) and spin around 10 times on the spot as fast as you can.

It uses the gyroscope to measure each spin to give you an accurate time once you're finished.

And, each time you do perform a spin, the number on screen counts up, with each of them having their own brightly coloured personality. See them all dancing around below.

Aren't they wonderful?

You can play Spinnner solo or, if someone else has an iPhone nearby, you can compete against each other.

You can also see how you square up in the leaderboards.

I remember being a kid and spinning around on the spot, laughing as I fell over. I haven't done that for a while, but this morning, due to playing Spinnner, I did. For a moment there I became a kidult.

Spinnner is apparently aimed at 9 to 11 year olds, but anyone can play it and, most likely, enjoy it - especially if you have kids of your own to share it with.

You can purchase it for 79p / 99c on the App Store.

- Updated on Tuesday, September 22nd at 18:47PM: How could we forget about the Pocket Gamer Podcast!
The podcast, manned by Peter, James, and Harry, placed in the Radio or Podcast Team – In-house.

The awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 14th and you can bet we'll update you with the final results.

Pocket Gamer has gone and got itself 4 nominations at this year's Games Media Awards and is, quite frankly, chuffed to bits about it.

First of all, relative newcomer Jake Tucker has burst onto the scene with an impressive nomination for the Features Writer Award. You can check out Jake's awesome stuff right here.

Next up, Pocket Gamer's video arm AppSpy has been nominated for not one but two awards for Video Team and Streamer.

That's all thanks to the hard work James Gilmour, Peter Willington, Harry Slater, and Danny Russell have put in this year making sure you get a chance to see all of the new games in action before they're even on your phones and tablets.

Of course, they also built the AppSpy Twitch stream into a second-to-none mobile gaming behemoth.

Last but certainly not least is Pocket Gamer veteran and Editor-extraordinaire Mark Brown who has placed in the finalists for the YouTuber award.

If you haven't checked out his fantastic Game Maker's Toolkit series on YouTube, you're doing yourself a disservice. Fix that now.

We will, of course, keep you updated with how we get on.
