The Swollen Fox
The Warhammer universe has received so many video game adaptations over time that it's easy to become a little confused by it all. And that doesn't look like it's going to be changing any time soon, as Games Workshop has partnered with Hunted Cow and Tilting Point to bring us an all-new mobile strategy title that goes by the cosy name of Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest.

The game's beta launches today on Google Play, but it's currently only being made available in the Philippines. And so, pending results of the beta testing, we'll have to wait a little longer to get our hands on Chaos & Conquest, as it's not set for a global release until next year.

Players will assume the role of a Chaos Lord, who loves to do all the sorts of things the name might suggest. When you're not summoning daemonic troops or erecting temples in your honour, you'll likely be conquering some kingdoms. All of these wonderful activities can be experienced alone or with friends, as you form unholy alliances to determine who's the biggest and baddest of all the Chaos Lords.

A strategy game for mobiles makes sense for the franchise, and it's certainly not the most out-there adaptation of this universe that we've seen. I can't imagine this one will get the sort of backlash that popped up against Command and Conquer: Rivals and Diablo: Immortal, though I suppose only time will tell.

Pokemon Masters has now been downloaded a colossal 20 million times, so to celebrate DeNA are giving every player 1500 gems. But that's not all the Pokemon Masters news we have today. There's also a new legendary event, Sync Pair and login rally, all of which will run until 14th February.

The legendary event was teased earlier this month with the reveal of its name – The Dragon That Rules the Sky. It turns out, that dragon is Rayquaza and players will be able to get the legendary Pokemon and its partner Zinnia – who originally appeared in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire – through this event.

Much like the Solgaleo event before it, players will first have to gather 100 vouchers to unlock the story mission that will allow you to add Zinnia & Rayquaza to your Sync Pair roster. Once you've unlocked the duo you can then grind for more of these vouchers to exchange them for items that will make Rayquaza more powerful. They can be earned in either event-specific co-op or singleplayer missions.

To coincide with this event there will also be a new login rally. Once again, this is mostly just a lot of free gems over the course of 14 days. It's 300 per day which adds up to a grand total of 4200 gems. Similarly, there will also be bingo missions for some extra rewards that can mostly be completed by upgrading Rayquaza and beating event missions a certain number of times.

Finally, a new Sync Pair has also been added to the game. This is Professor Kukui & Lycanroc, making them the second Sync Pair to have a Lycanroc, though the professor has the Midday version whilst Olivia's is the Midnight Form.

The pair will have their own Spotlight Scout that runs between now and 14th February where you'll have a slightly higher chance to get them. However, it's worth remembering that because Leaf currently has her own Spotlight Scout, you won't be able to obtain her using Kukui's.

Pokemon Masters is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Need friends in Pokémon Masters? Share your friend codes here!

It's been a little while since we talked about the heavily-awaited Death Road to Canada, but it looks like we may getting it around January.

Death Road to Canada is a permadeath road trip simulator in which you, and a car full of jerks, have to travel across country collecting supplies, survivors, and attempting not to die. Swarming through the cities, across highways, and countrysides, zombies are trying their best to rip you limb-from-limb and eat you.

According to the game's forum page we could be looking at a January release. "Yeah we're shooting for January because the App Store is pretty much closed to us for new releases until the holidays are over." Fingers crossed there won't be a further delay, but perfection takes time.

Later on in the forums, the RocketCat Games rep said that though they haven't settled on a price yet, Death Road to Canada will be between $6.99-$9.99 (£4.99-£7.99). Given its £10.99 PC price tag that sounds about right.

A DOG, used to eating eggs, saw an Oyster and, opening his mouth to its widest extent, swallowed it down with the utmost relish, supposing it to be an egg. Soon afterwards suffering great pain in his stomach, he said, "I deserve all this torment, for my folly in thinking that everything round must be an egg."Racing Heroes Mod Racing Heroes Mod Apk 1.4.5 Features:Free UpgradesRace in real-time PVP arena! Susan did not enter into Anne's feelings at all. She was, indeed, quite rejoiced over the prospect of living at the Glen. Her one grievance against her place in the little house was its lonesome location.
It's been a year since Rusty Lake's last premium game, Rusty Lake Roots, was revealed, and today the team have put us out of their misery by naming their next project: Rusty Lake Paradise.
We can finally reveal the name of new premium game: Rusty Lake Paradise! Read more about the new gameplay mechanics: https://t.co/f2uQWC6shq pic.twitter.com/w0UGpTUcGb— Rusty Lake (@rustylakecom) August 14, 2017 The Rusty Lake games are stylish point and click puzzlers with a bit of a darker side to them. Unlike the free to play Cube Escape series, the premium titles tend to be more detailed with a finer story, and it looks like Paradise will be the finest one yet.

Paradise is set on a small island in the 18th century. Following the death of your mother, the island falls victim to the ten plagues, and it's up to you to get rid of them.

On their official blog, they don't reveal too much about the project as of yet - aside from the fact they're about 50% done - but they do say that gameplay's going to be a little bit different from the previous titles.

"It is set on an island so you can go around the area, a bit similar as Cube Escape: The Mill in which you could navigate between the different floors. We had to beta test this new gameplay a lot, but all in all we can say players pick it up really fast. We are happy with this improvement because it fits the island theme and it also gives us more gameplay & puzzle opportunities."

Source: Rusty Lake.
