A CERTAIN MAN, detained by a storm in his country house, first of all killed his sheep, and then his goats, for the maintenance of his household. The storm still continuing, he was obliged to slaughter his yoke oxen for food.
Nintendo served a takedown notice to popular Pokemon fan game creator Pokemon Essentials. The tool has been used to make many Pokemon spin-off games, some of which have also been banned by Nintendo, over the past few years.

The tool, which is hosted on the PokeCommunity message boards, as well its related Wikia, will no longer be available online.

“Today, the Pokémon Essentials wikia and all downloads for it have been taken down due to a copyright claim by Nintendo of America,” said PokeCommunity admin Marin, “Please don't freak out about the claim, and there's no reason to get angry with Nintendo or anyone else involved. It doesn't need to be a bigger deal than it should be. We will not allow Pokémon Essentials or any of its assets to be hosted or distributed on PokéCommunity.”

Pokemon Essentials allowed fans to create their own Pokemon games using assets including sprites and music. Nintendo has always been known to be very protective of their properties, so this doesn’t come as a huge surprise. However, many are quite disappointed to see the end of some of their favorite fan projects.

Where do you stand on the issue? Do you support Nintendo or do you think they are overprotective? This is a similar update with a new island being introduced.

This one is called Lava Island and sees Milton stranded and forced to explore a jungle-covered island. There is also lava, as the name would suggest. Whilst you're exploring you'll find a tribe of rock warriors and a Comet monster who crashed into the island a long time ago.
